Spring’s musts: Places to visit

Spring has sprung! And with the change of season comes the chance to visit our favorite hotspots. If you haven’t visited these spots, make sure to put them on your spring list.

The Mill, which used to be a biscuit-making mill, now houses various outlets, including art houses, galleries, restaurants and the famous Test Kitchen. Want to experience New Woodstock at its best? Visit on Saturday when the Neighbourgoods Market introduces various foods and trade from 9am-2pm.

The Creamery – Dean Street, Newlands

This artisan ice cream shop serves handmade ice cream by the scoop or pint. The flavours include melktert, cookie dough and coffee (need I say more?). Pay this place a visit for a date or just an outing with friends.

Eastern Food Bazaar – Darling Street, Cape Town

East

This lovely food outlet houses numerous types of Eastern food from Turkish to Chinese. Plus, it suits the student budget with meals averaging R40-R50.

Celebrate spring and go out to one of these hotspots. You won’t be disappointed!
