Mosimane hints at conspiracy

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane was full of moans following his side’s 3-0 loss to Orlando Pirates in an Absa Premiership match on Wednesday night and even hinted at a bit of a conspiracy.

The start of the game, which was delayed due to hordes of fans arriving late, was further delayed when the Buccaneer’s asked to see Alje Schut’s players’ card which Sundowns could not produce at the time.

According to the Soccer-Laduma website, Speaking after the match, Mosimane said something fishy was going on and his side never had any chance of winning the game.

“I don’t believe we could have won this match,” said Mosimane.

“First, I find it very, very strange that Orlando Pirates go to Alje Schut’s card, that is within our books, how do they know that, straight to Alje’s card, no one else, please man.

“I know what is going to happen to me now, I am going to be suspended.

“I find it very strange that Orlando Pirates go straight to Alje Schut’s card and they say what…what… how do they know, how would I know what is happening with Orlando Pirates’ cards?

“We would never have won this game.

“The dice was loaded against us.

“My team played very well, they are a good team, but we rushed it in the final third.

“We dissected them and created so many chances, but that is football for you.”

Mosimane did praise the efforts of Kermit Erasmus who scored a brace for Pirates on the night.

“The goals, Kermit was brilliant, he scored two goals and I gave him a handshake after the game, he is a brilliant player,” added the Sundowns coach.
