Campus Life

Spring is here

Spring is here

The spring fever will be prolonged despite the passing of the fun spring day event at Rag Farm,LC de Villiers. With the winter wardrobe appearances fading, more students are showing me skin this season in floral prints. Crop shirts, short dresses, shorts and denims have been the most trending. Flip-flops has also been a favorite among most tuks students for the past few years and it’s still is. They are a custom. Most outfits have been paired with shades and sunhats.

This is the time where the heat in cap city is so unbearable and because hydration is vital, water stations on campus become more utilized. In such hot conditions when you’re losing bodily fluids through sweating it’s important to stay hydrated at all times. Refreshments are mostly consumed by students in between period breaks. Ice cream stays winning as it is a favorite among most individuals. It is always fulfilling to wake up to sunny mornings as they give you a fresh perspective of the day. Sunny days have always been for braais with friends, most people spend their time outdoors. Spring is a season of birth to new vibrant beginnings and adventure, so unleash your positive inner being and enjoy every moment of your blossomed life. Go out there and indulge in greater things.
